Sarah Yasmine, the woman who previously claimed to be in a relationship with Singaporean singer-actor Aliff Aziz since January this year, dropped a bombshell on Wednesday (Apr 24) by uploading multiple screenshots of text conversations, purportedly between Aliff and Malaysian actress Ruhainies, on her Instagram page. Aliff and Ruhainies were previously caught in a close proximity scandal in March this year which led to his wife Bella Astillah filing for divorce.

In the messages, terms of endearment such as "sayang" (Malay for dear) and "I love you" were used by both parties. The texts also contained plans detailing ways for Aliff Aziz and Ruhainies to overcome the backlash surrounding their scandal.

In a message dated Mar 18, one of the texters (who's allegedly Aliff) sent a message saying: "I think Jawi [the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department] will make an example out (of) us. Be prepared. We need to have our lawyers (go) all out on mitigation if we plead guilty."

The texters also name-dropped several celebrities including sisters Emma and Chacha Maembong. According to the texters, Chacha Maembong claimed that only "fools would believe Bella's side of the story" and that "it's evident Bella is trying very hard to make people believe" her side of the story.

Bella Astillah was also insulted multiple times in the screenshots uploaded by Sarah Yasmine, with one of the texters (who's allegedly Ruhainies) calling her "babi" (Malay for pig) on one occasion.

A few hours after Sarah's expose, the Maembong sisters refuted the texters' accounts of the events that transpired and inadvertently strengthened the claims of Ruhainies and Aliff Aziz being the texters in Sarah's screenshots.

According to Chacha, Ruhainies and Emma were on a video call and the phone was "suddenly" passed to Chacha. Chacha then said: "I don't know what's going on and I don't want to be involved in your problems."

After discovering that she was name-dropped in the texts, Chacha reached out to Ruhainies demanding her to "clear her name". She added that she wasn't close with Ruhainies and that her first-ever text to her was regarding the name-dropping issue.

In a video sharing her side of the story, Chacha even played a voice note from Ruhainies where the latter said: "The conversation was between me and Aliff. I didn't know that she (Sarah Yasmine) hacked his phone."

In the past few days, Sarah Yasmine has emerged as a key player in the Aliff Aziz saga, with Bella Astillah herself confirming that Sarah is one of the 11 women that Aliff allegedly cheated on her with.

Speaking to media outlets in Malaysia, Bella said: "I already knew about her, as I've planted a recorder in (Aliff's) car...We've even met up in Kuala Lumpur."

"I don't condone her actions, but she is telling the truth."
